Ampeliko

    Tiny rural settlement at the western of Plomari and eastern of Polichnitos (the average distance from Mytilene is 63Km). Here we meet the picturesque mountainous character at her acme, as the three of the settlements are situated in olive groves and forests with rich flora. The area is full of austere little churches. The few inhabitants are engaged with agriculture, cattle-raising with the traditional methods. Following the main rural road we reach the beach of Stavros, full of pine trees.
